Problem programming remote

When i try to program my remote to work with a sanyo tv using the remote code 0154 or 0156 the remote works perfectly during the testing phase but then does not work once i exit the setup. can anyone help me?

Leave batteries out for awhile. Reprogram & make sure batteries are good. Also here is link to latest manual.

If you do not have the code for you Sanyo TV then you can use the remote itself to get the code. It is a bit painful as you have to count the number of blinks it makes.
Follow the steps under getting your code.

Programming a sanyo tv with rcu403a remote and

Hello Jeffro

Programming a device using the Code Lists:

1- Sanyo 017,021,039,056,057,058 (codes)
2- Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH.
3- Press and release the TV, VCR or Cable button you want to set up. If programming AUX for a device, press and release AUX first and then the device to be programmed (TV, VCR or Cable). When the selected device button flashes proceed to the next step.
4- Enter the three digit code from the TV, VCR or Cable Box code lists. 5- Release CODE SEARCH.
6- With the device on, press another button, for example CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-5 using another code number from the lists

Have SANYO COLOR TV - Model # DS27590 - trying to find the codes so I can program my GE universal to work with it.

I found the codes by going on line to various sites. I have two TV's a stereo, a DVD/VCR player that I wanted to program a universal remote for.
As far as how many devicces one universal will handle...I don't have the answer yet.

Programming my directv remote to operate this tv, codes dont work

I just programmed mine by using my direct tv remote...
Go to MENU on the direct tv remote
Then highlight HELP & SETTING and press SELECT.
Press SELECT on Remote in the left menu.
Simply follow the onscreen instructions to program your remote. IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOU HOLD ON AND SEE THE GREEN LIGHT ON THE DIRECT TV REMOTE FLASH TWICE, otherwise it won't work....which is what I think is happening in your case. Good luck.
