Definately an easy fix.
I suggest looking on eBay for a donor chassis.
Sometimes they can be had relatively cheap
CLICK HERE (this one has both hinges broken however) - and sometimes just the parts you are looking for are available CLICK HERE (this is for the RHS one though).
An entire donor PC is adviseable, because usually the repair is not just the hinge that broke - as the rest of the lid is plastic!
Once the trim above the keyboard is pried off, you will see the monitor cable, and hinge screws.
The trim around the monitor must be dis-assembled and pried into 2 parts.
Then the hinge & Support are either screwed into the side of the screen, or the back of the lid.
Most look like this...
Replace reverse of removal.

Once the screen is free of the chassis - its time to remove the little rubber scerw covers in the lid, and disassemble.
