Pre wash not happening

The washing machine turns on, select the programme and press start. It sounds like its trying to fill up for a few seconds and then stops. Its able to spin but then it eventually stops and the pre wash light flashes. We've tried it on spin only and that works so was thinking it must be something to do with the water level guage or something. Help?!!

The machine appears to be over filling with water, when this gets approximatively half way up the door the pre wash light starts to flash and everything stops including the water. It will do a slow of fast spin with no problems and will drain fully, any ideas

Poss blocked filter which also controls your pressure system, on your machine I believe if the prewash ligbt is flashing it would indicate a blockage there

SOURCE: It won't do a pre-wash. If I select the programme

could be faulty hot water valve

Testimonial: "Aha, you could be right there but not with it being a faulty valve, but with there not being any hot water! The machine runs off cold only and heats it up during the wash, perhaps this is why it won't do a pre-wash. Thanks I think that could be the reason"

I have Gorenje washing machine and whenever I try to navigate to some program, it beeps continuously

Try this reset procedure, but it sounds like an alarm situation.

How do I reset my Gorenje washing machine?
Upon start-up or during pause, the button backlight will flash; when the programme is started and in progress, it will be lit continuously. Use this button to turn the washing machine on and off, and to reset the washing programme. lighting Press the positions 7+10 and hold them for 3 seconds.

My machine keeps bleeping to tell me the cycle is finished but will not begin another programme ?

1. Set the cycle knob to any "X" (reset) position
2. Press and hold the Pre-wash and the Start buttons at the same time. While still holding these buttons, turn the unit on by pressing the On/Off button
3. Keep holding the Pre-wash and the Start buttons until the digital display comes on (about 5 seconds)
The digital display will show 00 for no faults or will show a fault code.
To end the test program turn the washer off at any time

Let me know what error codes come up, if any.

Washing machine makes buzzing noise

Check the water pump for an obstruction in the chamber area, your pump may be sticking and that will cause the buzzing sound. The water pump runs during the fill portion of the cycle on several of the selected wash cycles to recirculate the water.

Either the child lock is on - press and hold quick-wash and anti-crease, at the same time for three seconds.

Or your machine need re-seting

Turn power button off (not at wall)
Select 90 degree wash
Press Start and Cancel button down at same time for 3 seconds and turn power button on whilst still holding buttons down - Start light will flash.
Leave power on.
Select any Spin position.
Press Start and Cancel button at same time again for 3 seconds - other buttons may start to flash - if they do, press Start and Cancel button together again for 3 seconds.
Machine should be re-set ready for use.
Good luck!
