Question about LG LRFD25850 French Door Refrigerator
Larry, I believe you have to remove the inside door frame cover, starting at the top and working your way down. The cover should snap out and away from the door. Next would be the gasket bracket clips. With a flat tip screw driver insert into the seam between the gasket bracket and the door frame and pry out until the clips snap out. Then proceed to remove the gasket from the channel. Catriver.

If the door won't latch, the latch assembly might be defective. Inspect the latch assembly to see if it is cracked or worn out. The latch assembly is normally replaced all as one part.

Thanks...It worked...not sure if the spring is inserted correctly (i just tucked it in between the assembly and the door frame), but the door latch seems to have the same tension and return as the otherside...
