Re: Cant send texts
I think your keyboard connection cable was either damaged or loose. The only way is you have to open the case and check it. I can help you to fix it since i has my own store in fixya.com. If you want to do it by yourself, please click on the link below and you can see the step by step how to open the housing and check for the problem. since you has dropped it, something is loosing inside and most likely is the cable connection between keypad and the main board. I can fox for you for only $20.00 plus $3.00 shipping. If you want me to do it, you can email me to [email protected], I will provide you the shipping address and how to ship your phone to me for repair. I got many customers before you from fixya.com and they like my service and I am sure you will too. Ok, now look to the link below to see whether yo can do it by yourself:
Good Luck. If you can't do it. I am here to help you at a very low cost and your phone will be back on track guaranty.

I have a WM6.1 device, which has threaded SMS,and I can tell you that whenever a message is selected and displayed on-screen, there is a blank bar at the bottom of the screen, which, if the cursor is elsewhere, I just have to tap over that bar and start writing there, then tap on 'Send', in order to reply to that message.
Hope that your WM version behaves like that too.
i am told by a boost rep, that the phone takes a few days to find out who peoples networks are, if you notice, people who text u from boost show up in your "Inbox" with there number and contact name shown, with the top left button as reply, but if any anbody who is not on boost texts you, their text will go in a "SMS" box at the bottom of your message center screen , with no number, contact name, or reply option, boost said this will fix itself in a matter of time.
there are a few reasons that could be causing this.
1. You may have changed the message center routing number.
* Go to messages - options - message setup - text messages - profile - SMS settings(should be check marked, if not select activate) - Customize
* The message center number should be +13123149810(plus must be entered....hold 0 key for plus)
2. Text messaging pay per use has been taken off your account. dial 611 from your phone or 1-866-246-4852 (after hours call 866-801-3600) from another phone for customer service. request pay per use to be added to your phone, or purchase a messaging plan.
These should cover it. Make sure to power you r phone off and on after any changes.
