Iriver h10 deleted songs aren't deleted!!!

Deleting files? The PC jukebox should work, but if not, use the UMS mode.

Syncing problems. Most likely a PC setup problem.
-An incompatible version of WMP10. If your using WMP11 beta, you're screwed.
-Windows Updates
-Windows Media Format Runtime
-DRM Folder(a hidden folder) Control panel>Folders>Show hidden folders.
Reinstall the DRM folder.
1. Delete the DRM folder C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersDRM
2. Go to Microsoft
http://services.wmdrm.windowsmedia.com/indivSite
and click upgrade. DRM will be reinstalled and upgraded.

I've had my player for a long time with no problems.
I did have to setup my PC for PlaysForSure *To Go*, but that is not iRiver specific.

HAVE AN IRIVER E10. CANNOT SYNC SONGS USING WINDOW MEDIA PLAYER.

I can only guess that you are using windows media player to sync. So, just use the iriver program or open 'my computer', click onto iriver device icon, and paste in music.

My H320 does not appear to work with windows vista. It will not accept new music now i have upgraded my PC to windows vista. There is still plenty of space left on the harddrive of the Iriver. Any new music...

Windows Vista is a new program with tons of errors on it because, in order to reach the due date, they didn't fix the problem and just gloated how the finished it on time. So there's a good chance that Vista is the problem. Could you use the H320 when the PC did not have Vista on it?

I HAVE WINDOWS VISTA

If you are using Windows Vista with Windows Media Player 11, you will need to follow these instructions.
Note: You will be able to download purchased/subscribed songs to the unit.

1. Start Windows Media Player 11 and then connect your unit to your computer. If you have not set up synchronization between your computer and this device, the Device Setup Wizard starts.
2. In Device Setup - Configure Sync, write a name for your mp3 player.
3. Click Finish. The window closes and the Sync feature in the Player is displayed.
4. From the left pane of this Sync feature, you can select from Playlists or Library and you will see the content of these folders in the center pane.
5. Select the songs or entire albums from the center pane.
6. Drag these songs or albums into the Sync List, which is the right pane of the Sync feature.
7. Click the Start Sync button on the Sync List pane.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 for any other items that you want to copy to your unit.

I river x20

Screw Window Media Player. Just use the included software instead. Iriver Plus 3 makes all the necessary conversions for your player, to make sure it works properly. WMP messes stuff up a lot.

Tansferring Songs

Your problem sounds different from the one I had, but you might try the solution that worked for my problem: Go to a computer that has Windows Media Player Version 10 (not version 11), use iRiver's firmware update tool to install firmware version 1.77. Then, for me at least, my T10 worked on Windows Media Player Version 11 computers.
