Touch screen not working

There is no way to fix it. Once the phone has liquid damage that affects the screen, you have to use your insurance to get a replacement (if you have insurance). Otherwise, you need a new phone.

I bought this phone yesterday and it has turned off over 12 times. I think it's defective.

This happened to me too, you have to take your phone back to who you bought it from so they can repair it. Its the chip inside the phone that is bad. Not the charger.

Sure, request you to get in touch with the dealer from where you bought the phone because at this is the new phone and might be under warranty, so no need to do any technical thing from our side

I was cleaning the pool when my LG Vu took a dive. I fished it out in about 2 minutes...should have jumped in and it would have been in only seconds.....anyway. Dried it off with my shirt and pushed the lock button to unlock and see the screen...it was on but said Emergency Download. I took the battery out and dried it off also took out the SIM card and memory card. Shook the water out; some drips here and there, fortunately it wasn't water-logged. I let it sit for about an hour and got on the internet to find a remedy. I took advice to put back the memory and SIM cards and plug in to charger....the screen directed me to put in the battery....so far so good. The screen said the battery was charging. I waited patiently for that to finish. When complete, unhooked the charger and hit the unlock button again....what do you know the screen came up! I was estatic! But....the touch screen would not work!! Back on the internet for advice. Decided to do the hair dryer trick. I set the dryer on cool setting and let it blow on the screen. I also opened up the chargers portal and let air blow in there. I took the cover off the back to the battery and let it blow on there....being very careful not to let the battery fall out and not let the phone get hot. I did this for about 30 minutes. There was some fogging of the screen so I focused more on drying the screen with the dryer. The fog cleared up and when I touched the touch screen the top of the screen started working first...bottom still not responding...a little more of the dryer and all worked!!! Screen fogged again in about 20 minutes...dryed it again with dryer and it has been dry ever since. I have gone to every application, etc. on my phone and everything works just like it did before it took a dip! Hope this helps some of you! Key is patience, and some drying with TLC! Best of Luck!

it's because of water damage, there should be a little square && it should be WHITE, most likely if your having this problem its because the little square is RED.

buy a new phone.

Call apple--clean out the ports-go to Apple Store and have them plug it in might need charger & cable-on ebay cheaper get oem

Take out the battery....then put it back in. Do not try to turn on the phone yet. Next plug the phone up to charge. Wait until the charging screen appears and then power the phone. Worked for me.....good luck.

Looks like the batteries are DOA (dead on arrival). Happens sometimes. Since you said you just bought this yesterday, take it back to the shop.I'm sure they will be able to replace it for you.
An other thing, make sure there is no plastic around the battery or the contacts..Sometimes that can be a problem too..

I got the same problem. I even tried to plug the battery to the second battery charging slot, still couldn't get it back to life. But the Ipaq screen lights on with progress bar progress for about 5 seconds, then dead again. I even doubted the battery was toasted.
I gave it a final shot:
1. Remove the battery, and then put it back.
2. While the screen lights on, within 2 seconds, cold reset the unit by press the hole with stylus and push the power button at top in the same time.
In my case, the progress bar will keep going until I see the tap screen instruction and everything back to normal. But it reminds me that the removable battery is totally discharged. So I put it in cradle and I am able to synch it with my PC. Everything seems o.k. while it sits in the cradle, except the charging light won't turn red.
When I remove it from the cradle, it still lights on, battery shows 99% which is healthy. but when I turned it off, it won't start anymore. I have to repeat the above steps to revive it. Sometimes I have to remove the battery and wait for a while and then put it back, so that the screen can light on to give me chance to cold reset.
Conclusion: Maybe need a new battery. I will check Ebay to get one.
