I cannot connect my emerson tv to dish network

We would be happy to help with those two issues. First let's address your DISH Network remote to your Emerson TV. To check that the code works try severalfunctions on the remote to make sure it's the best code to use with your TV. Rememberthat some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case,try the other codes listed for that device until you find one that iscompatible with your equipment. Remember to put your remote back into SAT mode once you're done.

Once you have your DISH Network remote programmed to your TV getting the game system to come up on the TV should be a matter of getting your TV on the input you have it connected to. This can be done by pressing the "TV/Video" or "Input" button on the DISH remote when it is in TV mode. Hi tbombertigermy name is Mike Houston of DISH Network and I was going over your post and Isee where your Emerson TV needs to be programmed to your DISH Network remote. Ihave the codes 569, 632, 505, 516 and 004. What you will want to do is holddown the clear TV button for 6 seconds and then press in the three digit codeand the # button. Some TVs will not provide all the features of the TV or won't work with out DISH remotes. I have supplied all the available codes for the Emerson TVs. I hope this helps.

Step 1:
Press and hold the TV Mode button until all mode button back lights come on, then release.

Step 2:
Use the number buttons to enter the device code corresponding to the equipment. In your case we are going to use the Emerson codes: 764, 632, 648, 670, 699, 194, 537, 537. Then press the pound (#) button.

You should be able to control the volume and turn the TV on and off, if not try another code. Although we try to facilitate you in controlling both devices with one remote we cannot guarantee that we have codes for all the different brands and models of TV's.

unfortunately the two systems are not compatable and as a result u will have to use both remotes to do all that u want to do. This is a common complaint.
