I am looking for a part number for the MPC722 resistor in the F345, or wiring diagram, manual etc. to find it.

Resistor is at loactions 170 or 270 on the board. It is marked with "MPC722 / 0.1K + 0.1ohmK / # 62A."

I have a Stoves 720 EF which failed when the cooling fan and resistor blew. New resistor and fan fitted but cooling fan only turns very slowly and resistor heats up immediately. Where do I look next?

Check how you wired the resistor. The resistor controls the speed of the fan. If its wired wrong, you will get the wrong speeds and the resistor will get very hot. Its normal for them to get warm but not so hot they start to burn. There should be a wiring diagram somewhere on the stove so you can check and confirm if one or more of the wires have been put on back to front.

Only the fan climate control is not working. The display climate control is working but only the fan.

That is the heater / AC blower motor ! There are electrical circuits and relays and blower motor resistor , blower motor etc... Electrical testing is the way to diagnose blower motor circuit . Looking at a wiring diagram to see what controls the blower motor on your particular vehicle would be the first step in diagnosing your problem . Do you know how to do automotive electrical testing , how to read or follow a wiring diagram ? Videos on youtube show how to test blower motor and related parts and wiring . BLOWER HEATER FAN SWITCH IS ONLY WORKING ON HIGH SPEED WITH LITTLE HEAT.

The blower motor fan is controlled by the blower motor resistor. Its the resistor which controls the fan on respective speed which you select. But if the resistor goes faulty, then it will not be able to set the required speed which you set for fan,so it works on high speed only. In this case you will have to replace the blower motor resistor. Check fog for the location of blower motor resistor location:--- see part number 8 in the diagram below. helpmech_11.gif

The blower motor resistor is located next to blower motor under the dash. Its fitted with 2 screws and a wiring connector. You have to remove the screws and wiring connector and take the resistor out and place the new resistor in same position and connect the connector as well as screws. ------------------- this should help.Thanks.Helpmech.
