Hi - I have a Indesit 1300 Wil133 Washing machine... When I switch it on ALL the lights on the front pannel keep flashing, I've changed the fuse, I've taken the plug out the wall a number of times with no luck. I sit and flick the on/off switch at the wall. And half hour to 45 min later the pannel will stop flashing. It's annoying that I have to do that cos my paitence is VERY THIN now when it comes to do washing. Does anyone know what the problem is? I've tried everything

SOURCE: Indesit front loading washing machine error code

i am a recently retired engineer of 20 years, but this sounds like (based on the info given) a heater element fault, after the machine fills up and agitates a few times the heater should start, check the heater for open circuit, replace if needed, of course it just could be a wire off? if i have helped rate me please

SOURCE: Washing Machine won't work

Sounds like error 49.
A water solenoid. I bought mine for $40 on ebay. FP didn't want to help. I still had the same problem after so I did a bit of chasing. I wasn't going to pay $350 for a controller, they must cost about $30 to make!

If you look closely at the solenoids you may see a bulge or burning.

I replaced the solenoid but still had binary 49 LED code. I chased the circuit through the Motor Controller (brown one in Australia) GW712.

It was a couple of FETS or Qs in a H drive. The get fed their +v from the main power rectifier. There is a funny looking round component called F^ which is a quick blow 1.6 A fuse. Because my solenoid had a shorted turn on it (bubling to outside packaging) it had blown this.

I didn't have one instock so I substituted an ordinary glass 2AG 2.0amp fast blow. You need to remove the old fuse and solder 2 wires into the holes left these are inturn soldered to the fuse ends. I used hot glue to hold the fuse clear of any other components.

You can get slow blow fuses almost anywhere. In my experience ordinary fuses are the same they always fail after the components are lost anyhow!

If you are desperately dirty you could just jump the 2 holes with tinned copper but this could represent a fire hazard if a solenoid goes again.

We amke microcontrollers. It is a simple fix and saved me $350. A fuse is 10c or maybe $1 if you buy them one at a time. Make sure you test the plugs before you start up. My GW712 read:

1. Each motor winding ~ 35 ohms to any other
2. The lid solenoid ~ 70 ohms
3. Each water solenoid ~ 60 ohms
4.The thermistor ~ 10K ohms

# When this fault exists you can empty the water by removing the tube to the Pressure Xducer and using a tube from your mouth to blow into it HARD!!! The pump will start and pump it out for you.

To calculate the error code (for what use that is when you can find out)

Add the values for each light LED

SOURCE: washing machine is not draining and lights keep

It is likely that the pump/filter has blocked thus preventing the water pumping out.

You would need to check and if so unblock it. The location of the pump/filter varies with the brand but sometimes it is behind a flap at the lower front of the machine whilst on others you have to get the back off to locate it.

My indesit washing machine 12 hundred keeps flashing blue and red lights and won't do anything

Possible that the suspect could be the controller board, you can switch the machine off power for sometime, check the power outlet for the correct voltage. If not the front panel must be removed to check on the board and a possible fault of the processor or memory.

I have an indesit wil133 .when one wash finished, the red flashing light came on ,so i could open the door, but also the delay timer & stain remover lights were flashing. now when i try to put another...

I would go to the manufactures website and download the user guide and look in the trouble shooting guide or I would check the water pump to see f there's not an obstruction in the pump preventing the pump from emptying the drum completely as if the water sensor is not telling the machine its empty therefore it cant start again
