Ps2 slim that seems to be selective over what and when it will read. what it reads it dose perfectly, but when it messes up it only spins and tries
I have encountered these problem with my slim ps2 many times before... the solution for your problem is very easy......
when you insert your disk in your slim ps2 you must hear atleast three quick click sounds, theis sounds represents the cd has been locked in into the driver, to be able to check if it has already locked touch the top part of the cd pertaining to the center part once youve touched it feel if there is no unbalanced portion... if no your ready to play...... if yes reinsert it until you hit the right angle..... these takes a lot of practice just to do it safe for the console and the person..... enjoy...................
If it is astnding up vertically put to horzontal and try it if i doesn't work try to keep it cool and if that doesn't work clean the lens on your ps2 slim
