Electrolux DX302 Dishwasher power button wont stay on
I have an Electrolux DX302 and it has been playing up with the button not staying on. The dishwasher does work if I hold the button down for the entire wash.

These dishwashers have a control panel lock feature that allows you to lock the control panel to prevent kids from activating the unit.
To toggle lock/unlock mode, open the door, press and hold the AIR DRY button for 4 seconds.
If you have hard water, you should reduce the amount of detergent you use. Here's a map showing water hardness in the USA.

Thanks for this information. I was able to follow triburi's instruction and just make sure all the electrical connector is connect properly. It works after i put it all back. I guess i am just lucky one of the connection come lose.
Hi, Yes I had the same problem with the DX302. One of the solder joints on the relay was cracked but hardly visable. Resoldered it and no problems. How to do it: Make sure you turn off the power at the wall and pull out the plug. To get to the circuit board remove the screws on the inside top of the door and pull out the front panel (where the buttons are). Press the little clips and the white box containing the circuit board comes free. Remove all the plugs and lever open the small clips holding the box shut. After you open the box pull the circuit board up and have a look at the contacts under the black little box (relay). Use a soldering iron and some flux cored solder and redo the joints. Put it all back together and turn on to see how it goes. Worked for me. All the best......
Remove the toe kick by loosening 2 screws. There is a panel there with little lights that correspond to specific problems. The light that is on will correspond to the problem that the dishwasher has detected. Correct the problem and you should be good to go. I have no idea why this is not in the instruction manual. A common one is that there us a leak that the dishwasher has detected, normally in the drain pipe.
