I cannot find 'Bluetooth Devices' item in Control Panel. i cannot connect my handphone with the notebook. pls help.
There is normally a switch on the front of the laptop or a function key on the keypad to turn on/off the bluetooth, so check both and also when you turn it on, ensure in the the settings that the laptop is discoverable to other bluetooth devices, as your phone wont find it otherwise. If bluetooth is enabled on your notebook it should apear in control panel, so go to my computer>right click to properties>hardware tab>device manager, and look down the list for network adapters and click on the '+' sign and see if your blutooth adapter isnt dissabled with a red cross, if so right click anf select enable or has no driver installed; showing a yellow exclamation mark, if so right click and select update driver.

I have the same issue with the integrated bluetooth on my Dell Lattitude D410: there is no Bluetooth Devices item in the Control Panel.
The radio is powered on & enabled, and I actually am able to use it to transfer files on a fairly regular basis. In the system tray, the bluetooth network connection always appears to be disconnected, displaying a red "X" over the network icon with the message "Network cable is unplugged".
Like I said, I use bluetooth to transfer files back and forth between my phone & my PC on a fairly regular basis & rarely have any difficulty with it. I trying to use a new bluetooth stereo headset to listen to music on my computer & the headset is not found...
...but there is not Bluetooth Devices item in the Control Panel, so I can't troubleshoot the problem.
Help?!?! Thanks! ;-)
