Hey Don't worry About the "MTP DB MISMATCH FORMAT" I Have a Solution for this ,Go Head with the following

The main problem is to convert the MTP mode in to MSC mode

--->1.connect U R ScanDisk to the Computer and format it,transfer the data in to u r scandisk and while transferring unplug for the computer.

--->Then Unlock u r scandisk and plug in to computer and transfer the data it will automatically converts the MTP mode in to MSC mode.....

Sandisk m230 MTP DB mismatch...

Here is a link to get the manual:

http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/Default.aspx?CatID=1304

On page 30-31 it explains how to RESET the unit to the factory defaults. If nothing else, I believe that will clear your DB Error.

Sansa m230

The Music DB refers to the Music Database, or the Artist, Album, and Song info.

The error means your device is too full. It needs some free space on the device to create this information.

Connect your device to the PC and manually delete some files from it in My Computer>Device Name (m240)>MUSIC Folder.

It needs 6MB of free space, so you may need to delete several songs.

Disconnect the device from the PC, it should restart and you should be ok. If the message continues, keep deleting files until its gone,

Best of Luck.

Mismatch Format

I have formatted it. No songs available when opened the playlist. But when I start the unit it shows "NoSpaceForDB Please Please Delete More Than4.0M.B". The property shows the "0 Memory is free".
