Got this tv for free, the guy told me that it powers on but not picture, said he called and told him it needs to replace a card or something like that, anyone knows what could be the problem or what to do with the tv to make it work, thanks.
I had the same problem, but managed to repair it myself! There is no need to purchase a new
Power Supply! You can service the faulty PCB yourself, or give it to a Tehnician to service for you.
If you want to try service to yourself, here is how,
On the PCB marked QPWB11326-1B-4 you will need to do the following<
Replace the following Capacitor's, CS704(Most important one), CS705, CS706, CS707, CS708, CS713, CS715.
Replace the TOP210PFI IC marked ICS02
Replace the PC123 OPTO marked ICS03
Replace the TL431 Shunt Regulator marked ICS04

Power surges wreck havoc with power supplies since they are first in line and bear the brunt of the rushing power. Try replacing the power supply board on the cheap by getting a used one on ebay to minimize the expenditure in case that is not it. Always a possibility,
I hope that you have gotten this resolved, but if not, or if you have any other questions, here are the codes and some simple steps to run through.
1. Hold down the clear TV button until all lights light up at the top of the remote 2. Punch in a 3 digit code (provided below) 3. Press the # (POUND) button 4. Try powering the tv on/off, and the volume. If one or more of these functions do not work, start over from step 1 with a different code
Hyundai and I would be surprised is Sampo use Samsung parts. They may have mixed and matched compatible parts. The Hyundai I'm working on has almost Samsung everything. I wouldn't worry too much so long as the service place has a good reputation and stands behind their work. They may have replaced a video board that had different spec ratings.
A digitalizing picture is most likly a bad connection on a screen driver cable or the driver itself is intermittant or the power supply has an intermittant filter on the substain B+ line. hope this hellps.
