Well, if the power cord isn't hard wired to the TV, then the two most likely options are either a figure 8 cord or an IEC cord.

Not much of the user manual on the wbe that I can find. You will need the VGA cable to hook it up to your PC for the Video, and mini stereo male to male phone jack for the sound. I am not sure about the power, some websies say it uses AC adapter (Regulated 12vdc 3.5A, http://www.directreplacementbattery.com/viewbatteryfor.cfm/LCD-Monitors-BATESIAS-V171RUXRA-LCD-Monitor-58161-FS1501-1789.html), some says it uses Power cord (no AC adapter). Pictures will help.

in all likelyhood it's the connect that the power cord plugs into. the soldering often fails in that area. it needs to be resoldered to make a good connection

What fax machine?. if it looks like a computer power cord plug, that's what you need.
