When I try to install my Catz 5 game, it gets 51%, then stops. I hit cancel after about an hour of waiting. It says that I am missing FamilyRoom.env. I looked in the folder, and I am indeed missing it. I have never tampered with the game files. What do I do?
If you are trying to install the game from a CD or DVD the cause could probably be that the CD or DVD is damaged, try cleaning the media. if u are trying to install the game from a cd or dvd try coppying all the files on to your had disk and then open the setup procees from the hard disk.

have you tried restarting your computer or using a different computer? that always works for me. if not, just try waiting. if it freezes your WHOLE computer up,try pressing control, alt, and delete and the same time. this might not work, but its worth a try.
Ok, I got an answer from Daniel Wright, who has SP 2 and this is what he says:
"The solution is easy, go to your Petz 5 installation folder and rename setupapi.dll to something like setupapi.bak - Petz 5 will now load without any problems.
The problem only effects Petz 5 as Petz 4 doesn't include that file, and providing the game is patched it continues to run just fine on XP SP2."
