Cub cadet provided me a 4 prong trombetta starter solenoid to replace a 3 prong. Can I use the 4 prong and if so, how do I wire it?

Yes you can. The small wire from the key switch goes to the prong closest to the power wire from the battery.

SOURCE: How do you remove the front tire on Cub Cadet

Thats a plastic dust cap.Remove it very carefully so not to damage it. Then under the plastic cap will either be a Cotter pin or and E clip remove what is there and slid the tire and wheel off the spindle. These are a bear to break down and dismount and or remount. Unless you have a mini tire changer. I use my huge vise and a shaft the size of the spindle.I use motorcycle or bicycle tire irons. ITs a hassle believe me.

If this is Kohler engine...
and the battery is good, volts and amps...the compression release on the exhaust cam gear may be broken.
If so, the cam gear must be replaced

SOURCE: Cub Cadet LT1045 oil light

I am thinking that might be a notice to change the oil, which is only for notification purposes. Check your owners manual. There may be a procedure to reset the timer when you change the oil.

Cub Cadet won't turnover.

Try boosting it directly from the battery and see if it will turn over now. I had that problem and found my cable on the ground side had corrosion in it. I put new cables on and is ok now.

LT1046 cub cadet blown clutch..what caused this with new Pto switchpto switch froze..replaced it still will not engage blades.what could blow the new clutch

Are you sure it's blown? Run two jumper wires from the battery or power side of the starter solenoid and energize the clutch. If it energizes and clicks, that's eliminated. Did you blow any fuses?

Replaced starter dont remember how wires go back. the large red small red and the blue with the female slide on wires i know where they go but the larger blue one with the o shaped end i not sure if it...

you will have 3 or 4 wires to the solenoid. it sounds like you know where the 2 small ones go so the other 2 are for the battery and starter. one side of the solenoid will have a wire from the battery and the other side will have a wire to the starter. these 2 wires are larger because they carry the amperage required to turn the starter.

Cub Cadet LT1050-Replaced the solenoid, had starter checked out-it's good, battery has full charge, but mower won't start. Help!!

You need to check that there is a 12volt supply from the low tention wire at the solinoid when the key is turned, if there is not either the switch is bad, or the wire from the switch is bad, or the fuse has blown.
