Recovery i have a packard bell easynote r4650 and i want to use the recovery tool on the hard drive, ive done it before but i have forgot what to do, can u help? im after a full system recovery

More likely to be a hard drive problem.

You will need a backup recovery disc to reload your operational system. Since the hard drive has been wiped clean there is no other way to do this.

hello there go to the packard bell website on the top there is a link for support click on that then enter your serial number for the notebook and it will give you support including drivers.

the plastic containing the power switch slides to the left and comes out.
Three screws undeneath and your done....

You may need BIOS update. Check your CMOS time at bios page.
If time is wrong, set it up and try again. If this is solved the problem, change the CMOS battery.

Some how your BIOS got turned around, turn your computer off and back on, when your screen pops up for setup press the appropriate F-Key to setup. At the bottom of your screen you will have choices, Enter Default Settings and Exit. Reboot the computer and that should do it for ya. If It don't, Install a new copy of Windows, it knows your drive is there and it needs a new System Disk to read. Good Luck.

check if ur input socket is moving , i mean a bit loose. if so then u got problem with ur DC power jack of ur Laptop. u have to get it fixed. if it seems fine then there should be problem with ur power cable of ur adapter. get it checked for short circuit.

you have to set the hard drive first if there is any one detected if not there is bad hard drive and you have to replace it
