Im not that big of a tv wizz, but there is a line going thru my tv. i just need a couple quick ideas, i never dealed with rear projection before. thanks people.
Josh, When you say a line going through your TV is it a line from left to right or top to bottom? Is there a picture present and this is a line imposed on the picture or just a line by itself? Let me guess, you have no picture just a horizontal line (from left to right) across the middle of the screen. If so that is collapse of the vertical deflection and most likely caused by failure of the vertical IC and possibly linked to some bad caps in theat circuit as well. It's not an expensive repair, just find a good reputable shop. You might also mention, or if they ask, that your unit is a lighbox. Meaning that when they go to repair it the insides of the unit separate from the cabinet for easier access.. Good Luck Bill
