Activate temporary greeting

Note: Voicemail may ask for mailbox and password. Please consult your owner's manual for the credentials.

To change Main Greeting messages, here are the following steps:
-Go into the Supervisor Options

- To Access Supervisor Options:

- From main menu, press 6 for Supervisor Menu

-Press 2 for Routing Box Administration

-Enter Box Number that you are changing / recording

(Main Day Greeting is box 800, Main Night greeting is box 801)

-It will repeat the number you entered and prompt you to press 1 if its correct

-Press 3 to Modify

-Press 1 for Greetings

-Press 2 to Record Greeting

-Press 1 to replay current greeting or Press 2 to record greeting

-Press * (star) for current greeting
-Record greeting.

Verizon's voice mail service accepts messages for you when you are busy, or just don't want to answer the phone. The basic service will record up to 20 messages, with a three-minute maximum per message. The messages are held for 21 days, after which they are deleted automatically. Voice mail is usually included when you first activate your service, and you can check to see that you have voice mail from the "My Verizon" account area on the Verizon website. Once you have established you have voice mail on your account, you can set it up by programming it.

Follow the prompts to set up your password, greeting and mailbox options and then end the call when you're done.

Step 3Rerecord your greeting by choosing "Personal Options," which is the number "4" key. Options include notification options and other greetings like "Extended Absence." Follow the voice prompts to navigate through the tiered system.
Step 4Verify your voice-mail indicator is working by accessing your voice mail and pressing the number "4" key. Press "1" to toggle the message-waiting indicator on or off. Listen to the announcement that tells you how it's set.

Dial your extension. Wait for the greeting to say that you are at your voice mailbox. This is also the "Quick Voice Mail Tutorial Set Up."
Follow the instructions provided in the tutorial. You will be asked to enter your name (or company name), password and greeting. Write down the password and keep it in a safe place.
Record other greetings, if needed. After the tutorial, you have an option to add different messages for different situations. Press "311" to change your general greeting. Use "312" to record a message for when the line is busy. Dial "315" to record a temporary greeting for when you are away for an extended period of time, such as vacation. Good Luck

Hi, all you need to do is to go into your voice mail via the voice mail key, once in listen to the prompts until it says ' to assign your no answer greeting'. The prompts give the option to listen and record a greeting, however make sure that you delete the original and record a new greeting other wise the messages play back-to-back! Hi- to change your greeting on your Samsung DCS Voice Mail, press your VM key then enter your passcode, now dial 0, 5, 7 listen to the current greeting then press option 3, to delete and record new message, when you are happy with your new message press the # key to save. 1. Access Voicemail
2. You will be prompted to press:
   1 To Listen to new messages, or
   2 To Record and send a message.
   You will not be prompted to set your Greeting at this point - press 3 to Access Phone Manager.
3. Press 1 for Personal Options.
4. Press 3 to Record a Personal Greeting.
5. To record the Busy Greeting (when you are engaged) press 1 or to record the Standard Greeting (all other occasions) press 2.
   Your existing Greeting will be played to you.
6. Follow prompts to record a new Greeting:
   To Start press 2
   To Stop press 2
   To Save press 5
   To Review press 6
   To Delete press 4
   To Exit press * until system says "Thank you for calling".

To access the System Administrator Mailbox:
1. Dial into voice mail: From any phone on system dial 150
2. When the system answers, dial [*] + [#] followed by the System Administrator Mailbox number: (# 0 0 )
The system will announce: “Mailbox 15-00”, which is the System Administrator Mailbox number.
3. When requested, enter the System Administrator password. Default = [9]+[#]+[56].

How to program greetings
1. Access the System Administrator Mailbox as described above. The System Administrator Mailbox Menu plays.
2. Press [1] to access system greetings. The system will prompt you for the greeting number
3. Enter the desired greeting number.
For example:
1 = Default Day greeting
2 = Default Night greeting
3 = Default Temporary greeting
4. You will be prompted with the following three choices:
Press [1] to Review.
Press [2] to Record. You will be prompted to record the greeting
When you finish recording, press [#] to save the recording.
You can then
Press [1] to Review.
Press [*] + [*] + [*] to exit the system completely

When you log into the mail box, option 8 will be for personal options. Then option 2, will allow you to record your personal greeting. If this is a Startalk vociemail.

IF you know the password for the mailbox then log into the voicemail by dialing the Stratagy access code, after Stratagy answers dial * , then your user ID mailbox number plus #, then your security code plus #. The User Main Menu plays, press 2 to change your greeting, the Select Greeting Menu plays, press the greeting number, the Record Menu plays, press 2 to record your greeting, Record greeting, as soon as you finish press #, the Record Greeting Menu plays, press 1 to review or 2 to re-record. Press 9 to save and return to the Select Greeting Menu and 9 again to return to the User Main Menu, hang up at this point.
