Have you tried pushing the menu button on the monitor to see the settings? Have you tried pushing the source button on the monitor? What type of monitor is it? Wha type of cable are you using?
press the function key fn and f1 that will change you indicator lights that are located by your mouse pad keep the fn key held down while clicking f1 you should see the indicator lights moving stop pushing the button when the wireless light comes on
The FN button and F11 Button will reset your problem, press both at the same time and then try it, it should work if not then you may need to contact acer and get a return authorization to have warranty repair, as this has been a problem with acer from the aspire one on up, hopefully this will restore your problem to normal.
The Fn key is used in conjunction with F3 to F12 function keys to select second function assigned to these function keys.
Why do you want not to use the Fn key on your keyboard?
Do you mean the function button? The button with 'Fn' on it? You have the number lock engaged. Press the 'number lock' button, and all should be good.

Pressing fn-F2 is telling your wireless utility software to activate/deactivate your wireless card. You should also be able to do it through your wireless utility software. There is Usually a little icon for it at the bottom-right of your screen.
The fn key acts much like the shift key on your keyboard,,it is used to access the extra key functions which will be marked or written in blue on your key's. They are supposed to be there.
