The file is apart of the Intel graphics driver system. If you uninstall and reinstall the Intel MGA driver it may clear up this message.
You can also try to update the driver using the following method:
Click -START - Control Panel - INTEL GMA Driver
On the driver control screen click on - Information -
Select the - Support - tab
Click on the Graphics Driver downloads Link
Select - Graphics - and follow the prompts
You may be asked to download the update utility, do so
Select the Check System button to get latest driver
This method will keep your computer up to date.

Hi
First check on google whether any such file exist with intel graphic driver

Second if not - Go to run->msconfig->startup (tab) disable all -> restart now. If the error message is gone.

Third scan your system with mcafee 8.5i antivirus

This error often occurs following Windows Service Pack upgrades,Windows Update installs, and the running of new video games. After theerror appears it is usually possible to boot into safe-mode (restartand press F8 at the BIOS screen to start in safe-mode) to install thenewest version of the driver. Download and install newest driverversion from:
http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/

In the case of the 852/855 mobile graphics chipsets the driverupdate may need to be done twice. Laptops with docks have two copies ofthe Intel video driver; both the docked and undocked profiles of thelaptop have copies of the driver loaded. To completely fix the laptopinstall the newest drivers in one mode, restart, dock or undock thelaptop, reinstall the drivers in the second mode, and finally rebootthe laptop again.

Hello,

The ialmnt5.sys file is a driver file for video cards. The best solution in this case is to reinstall the video driver.

Go to the manufacturer's support website to download the latest drivers for your device.

Here is the link for your laptop drivers : Satellite M55-S135 drivers.

Make sure to select the correct OS version to get compatible and working drivers.

Hope this helps.

I Install the Intel 865 Dirver on Intel Orignal Motherboard but after sam time ialmnt5.cab file error and fault display settin

Hi.

I believe you are somehow receiving a Bluescreen sometimes. That happens when your Motherboard drivers are not compatible with the actual updates online.

1-Download Driver Genius.

2-So to solve this problem you need to click this link: http://www.intel.com/support/graphics/
and select the AUTOMATICALLY FIND GRAPHICS DRIVERS.

After the automated selection is done. Run Driver genius and Backup all your drivers. select a folder to keep your drivers. Next time you need to install your drivers it will be in the folder as a setup. you can rename your backup as MY INTEL DRIVERS just to remember.

3. Dont just accept updates from Internet, Disable automatic updates on your computer.
4. If you have an Antivirus - manually run antivirus updates daily.

Good luck hope you leave rating and suggestions if Information was Helpfull

Graphic driver problem

The Intel 852/855, 865G, and 945G video chipsets are integrated with numerous desktop, laptop, and server motherboards. Older versions of the drivers for these chipsets, often installed at the OEM factory, may conflict with patches or other drivers on each of Windows XP Home, XP Pro, and 2003 Server. Blue-screen-of-death and memory dump errors will result from running old versions of this driver. The text of these messages includes:
  • “DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL”
  • Driver conflict error: “ialmnt5.sys
  • DLL communication error: “ialmdev5.dll”
The error often occurs following Windows Service Pack upgrades, Windows Update installs, and the running of new video games. After the error appears it is usually possible to boot into safe-mode (restart and press F8 at the BIOS screen to start in safe-mode) to install the newest version of the driver. Download and install newest driver version from: http://support.intel.com/support/graphics/

I think your best bet will be to update every driver on your system and to try disabling advanced video features.

Or purchase a separate video card to install in your Windows 2003 server’s PCI or AGP slot and which already has drivers built for Windows 2003. Install that video card in the system and then disable the video Intel video chipset that is on your motherboard. (You can find closeout and refurbished video cards that might work well on sites like eBay or geeks.comno-web-bugs.gif)
