I just hook up a new D845HV motherborad up i think i hook it right some what.i can push the power button on it turn on but you con turn it off the some way.and the moniter dose not turn on.i know the moniter work fine.can you help me.
There seems to be two issues here, the front switch on/off button, should turn off if you arent getting any video to the monitor, unlike when booted into windows when you have to press and hold the button in.
there could be a number of reasons for the monitor not coming on, but if you cannot get into the bios (f2 or Del on boot up) the cmos chip is corrupt or faulty and require that you clear the cmos by the CLRCMOS, JBAT1 terminal, refer to your manual for the exact terminals and try re booting the pc.
if you can get into the bios, go to advanced cmos settings and ensure that agp is set as primary graphics adapter if you have a graphics card, or pci, if not vga should be set as the primary controller.
Also check that the motherboard is not touching/shorting on the pc casing, and that the memory that you are using is compatable with the motherboard normally signaled by one beep, proceeded by another for the graphics.

If you got everything hooked up when replacing the board the one you received is defective, however the power board isn't known for failure in this model set so your old one may be ok, have you tested the PWR_ON pin to see if you have voltage there when you push the power button? The 5 volt standby has to be working if you get a standby lamp, think you said it flashes. If you don't see around 3 volts when the power button is pushed on the power on pin going from the power supply to main the main board is defective, if you see voltage test the other rails coming from the power supply and see if they look good. This model has a really high failure of the LED backlights, a guess is this is what's wrong with your TV.
pull up the front cover the grill looking piece , not the air out louvers , there maybe a little button , push that in if air con starts up , then you remote sensor may be faulty or the remote itself .
el problema puede ser su adatador de 220 a 110 pruevelo primero con un toma para 110 y revise con voltimetro si es de 110 v porque puede ser que no este funcionando del todo bien y si no prueve solo el play3 solo y si enciende problema resuelto es adatador
In short, yes you can upgrade to a P4 cpu but from the compatibility chart at Intel support, it looks like the upper limit for this older board is the P4 2.6GHz.
Note: Even at that, running the P4 2.6 would require a BIOS upgrade to P12 or greater.
Luckily, the following link has the information you seek: (for BIOS info, click the "BIOS Version" link in the upper right corner of the compatibility table provided)
turn up your volume, sit close and watch this video tutorial.
Basicly, there are what's called headers and usually when looking at front of motherboard - they connect to the headers on far right at least on ATX mobos. power led connects to pwr led and your other goes to hdd but check out the vid clip:
you just have to turn the power on, push the display button so the time is showing on the display. (The only buttons involved are the "BAND" button, the number 4 roulette button which is the top right station preset button and the "DISPLAY" button.) I think you push and hold the BAND button and while holding it push the number 4 roulette button. (you don't have to hold it for any specific time you just have to push BAND in when you push the number 4 roulette button.) the time will flash and you use the vol/seek knob to adjust the time. When done push the BAND button again.
=> This really work, thanks!
Don't think you'll find a solution, from what I've been reading this is a problem that alot of jensen products have. I ended up replaceing mine with the 6112 but could not hook up the CD Changer so I got the 4610 which right now is working fine, so I tried putting the 6112 in another car but now it wont power on, whats up with jensen ?? I think their more trouble than their worth.
Make sure the video card is good and also that it is seated in the slot properly. You may need to actually remove it from the slot and push it all the way back in to reseat the card to make sure it is in all the way.
