SOURCE: Little Gourmet Hot water tank leaks out small hole in tank bottom

this is a condensate line and suprising enough most of the plumbers I go back after never hook them up they should have a hose off of them and led to a discharge area, if this is actually on the tank you will need to drain it and remove it and reseal it,

SOURCE: leaking braided water line from under spout LITTLE GOURMET

you will have to get a replacement from the manifacture,, they will send it to you, call them tell them wich one it is hot or cold they may have diffrent threads then again they may be the same,,,can you get the threaded part out of the faucet, you will need an extractor, you can get this at a hardware store, it has a rubber seal so you can only tighten it so much, get it ot try again but be gentle,, one thing I found after doing plumbing for 34 years if you snug it and it leaks you can always snug it some more if you over tighten it you can't do anything but replace it,,,, good luck let me know how it goes

How do I clean out the sediment in my year-old Little Gourmet Instant hot water dispenser?

After extensive searching there is no procedure shown. Presumably, you leave it, or you remove it from the installation, turn it upside down and shake it. Then put CLR and water in it to descale it, then rinse and reinstall. Hot water storage tanks have a drain at the bottom and an access hole from the element. After a year of use there should be nothing in it.

You could phone the maker / distributor and ask?

GE Water Cooler Cold Water does not come out, Why?

It works like a fridge or ac. When its charge gets low it can't cool. It will cycle on and off as freon goes around the circuit. Must be leaking around seals or crack in line. A good ac man could check its pressure to determine. Also, thermostat could be going bad, I would check that as well.

Our little gourmet dual hot/cold faucet has just started to gurgle out hot steaming water all day without use. The complete faucet is burning hot. Unit is 4 years old and used frequently.

having hot water trickle out all day will make the whole unit hot,, to the touch,, what you need to do , is turn off both the water supplys under the sink,, then remove the handle by removing the hold down screw,, after that , remove the hot water valve,, Just remove the nut that's on the outside of the fixture, what your going to find is at the end of that valve, is a washer,, made of hard rubber,, that needs replacing,, but also, inside of the fixture is a washer seat, its either brass or stainless steel,, that takes a seat tool wrench to remove that ,, but to make sure its repaired completely, both the washer and seat need to be replaced, seat tools are pretty inexpensive at Lowes , or Home depot,, and thats where you can get the parts you need also,, be sure and compare the old parts with the new, so take them with you when you go, most hardware stores that have plumbing supplies will have what you need, the seat just unscrews , but they can be a little tough,, if you decide to get a seat tool, they have straight ones and 90 degree ones ,, the straight ones you'll need a wrench to assist turning in the removal and install,

Turned off the hot water to fix a leaking tap. now the tap has no hot or cold water and the hot water tank valve is leaking?

It sounds like two problems.
Problem 1) Clog inside faucet or clog inside pipes at faucet
Remove supply tubes leading to faucet and see if problem is inside pipes or inside faucet.
My bet is clog inside faucet.

If you have galvanized pipe that meets copper pipe, this can be trouble spot.

Problem 2) Water heater leak ... you say tank valve is leaking? Is that cold-water shut-off valve? Or tank drain valve? Or TP valve?

If cold water shut-off is leaking, then replace shut off.

If tank drain valve is leaking, then check if plastic valve is cracked. If drain valve is cracked, then replace with a brass valve from Home Depot. If plastic valve breaks off, then use hammer and screwdriver to gently chip out the broken plastic valve. New valve threads need teflon tape to seal pipe. If valve is just dripping, then put garden-hose cap over end of valve and screw down tight.

If TP valve is leaking, then replace with same temperature and pressure rating.
New TP valve threads need teflon tape to seal pipe.

Problem 3) If pressure is low all over house:
Buy pressure gauge at hardware store that screws onto hose connection.

Test pressure on outdoor spigot.
Open faucet and check if pressure drops. This says if problem is inside pipes that enter house.

Test pressure on water heater drain valve.
This says if pressure problem is before -or- after water heater.

If problem is before the water heater, then shut-off valve located on cold water line is suspect.
If problem is after water heater, it could be in hot water outflow pipe on top of water heater, or a nearby elbow.

Remove hot water line leading from water heater and check pressure. This says if problem is where hot water leaves tank.
Read articles above about clogs inside water lines.

Hot water taps and showers pressure very low cold taps ok

there is a little cap on the hot and cold side above the shut off valves, turn the water off at these valve and take the caps off there are filters in there clean them off and reinstall them that should take care of the problem, you might want to flush the tank while your at it hook a hose to the hot side connector and run it out side or to a sump pump then turn on the cold water and flush it out you can also reverse this procedure by doing it on the cold side
