I'm trying to find the model number on this Zenith Solid State Stereo Phonograph I just acquired. I believe it's of the suitcase variety as the speakers fold out left and right and the turntable folds down. I've looked all over this thing and haven't been able to find it anywhere.
The label has likely been removed or come off, most of those had it on the rear or bottom with a few inside where the phono is.

There must be a capacitor which would be brust or leaked.So check it in th horizental section.And power supply section.Find that one and replace it. Good luck

i had this problem,the solution is to replace the 100mf/50v
cap near the vert ic heatzinc. it worked for me!!!!!

I don't have a print for this set, but vertical issues have been common on these. Here's what you need to replace to restore the vertical:
IC421 (LA7832), D422 (MTZJ75-T2), D541 (RGP90J-5025-T3), R541 (1.8/2 W), C424 (100uF/35V) and C425 (470uF/35V)
