Camera will not turn on.

I am having a problem getting my camera to turn on. It was working up until a few weeks ago, however tried turning it on yesterday and all that happens is the green light flashes every time you push the on button. Everything seems fine with it. Batteries are charged and everything is in contact, could someone please help me out? Thank you.

Check the manual for indications of error. Look for a reset to factory settings option. Switch off and remove batteries Take the memory card out and carefully cleane the contacts, now wrap a piece of paper atround the card in such a way that you have a frip on the paper an insert it and work it up and down thus polishing the chamber contacts. My Nikon D100 is now overexposing every picture The camera had been working perfectly until a few weeks ago, I have tried every setting and I've had the camera for years and it has worked flawlessly

Not familiar with this particular model, but have you tried removing the lens and seeing whether the aperture closes when you move the control lever ?

I purchased an olympus fe-330 8.0 megapixel camera about a month ago and worked ok until about a week ago when it just wont turn on. i have tried to charge the battery but the red light only comes on for...

when the red light is off, it means it is fully charged.

May be you are puting it wrong side in the camera. check the arrow to put in the camera

check with the service centre.

"turn off and on again"

a few weeks ago i dropped my camera in the sea and i thought, ****. i was in the same boat, so i opened the shutter myself and turned on the camera and it works and takes pictures but the shutter wont close again so if you can make sure you have no dirt in your lense and you can manually open the shutter yourself it may work and if it stops turning on all together keep charging it and once it goes green turn the switch off and on again until it always turns green then it should work again.

Camera won't turn on

Here are some simple things to try first for a camera that won't power on. They won't work for every case, but they're worth a try:

Samsung Digimax D53; 5.0 megapixels

Mind did the same thing. Try taking out the memory card. If it works after that, you'll have to buy a new memory card.
