I lost the original remote for my Sanyo DS20930. I have a universal remote that will turn the television on/off and work the volume, but does not control the input select - leaving me in the input 1 position. I don't have the original manual any longer. Does anyone know of a way of manually setting the input selection? Thanks!

Generally there is an input button on the remote. This is assuming you have the original remote that came with your television. Otherwise, there may be a button on the television itself. If the model number you provided is accurate, this pdf may help http://www.sanyotv.com/DS20930%20(E)%200169--.pdf
No sorry to dissapoint DS is short for Definition STANDARD ... and is a cheap 20 inch model assigned to category 2 of televisions. To improve its reception you could apply a Digital setop box to it to get all the additional channels seen on a Digital. Probably last longer than most new plasmas and LCD's as this is quite a robust little TV.
Get your Sanyo TV codes and one by one program the into you RCA universal until you can turn the TV on and off. Find codes at Sanyo.com, the manual, Sat Manual, Vcr Manual etc.
If you have a "Menu" button on the front panel of your set, then you may be able to change settings from the menu this way. If not then you will have to have the original remote to change settings.

So I have to go thru the inputs until it is back to the original one
