My RCA D52W20 52 in. Rear Projection tv projects a picture thats seams to be for a 54 in. if that makes sense..All edges of the tv is blocking part of the picture, the score to games, and stat bars on espn. Any way to make the picture fit the screen???
RCA has had problems with this, I am told it is under warranty. Call Manufacturers! But first try to turn off the AUTOFORMAT feature in Customer Menu and if don't work a board must be replaced.
This must be a duplicate, and since I'm not sure which one you'll be checking back with: Go into the menu and select picture settings and then advanced picture settings. I'm not sure on that model that you can manually change the aspect ratio from zoom to 16:9 or 4:3 ect... But select Auto Format and the TV will pre-select the correct format for viewing..... i am pretty good with electronics and i do have it set to 16:9 but it still projects part of the picture under the trim of the tv
