And I also dont want to send it in to get fix by anyone thats going to charge me some money im not cheap, but i already have some cameras and this one i bought it on ebay for less than 30.00 and i just want to see if i can get it fixed.. so please any suggestions.. should i try pulling or twisting? or shoulfd i just go straight in and open it and try to fix anything.. well any suggestions or tips will be greatly appreciated!!!!! thank you i have a hand full of cameras that have problems with the lenses!!! thanx;s
Take it apart. That's what I did and my camera magically started working again. Just get a screwedriver or screwdriver like device and start unscrewing all the screws. make sure to watch how all the screws came out. have a clean work surface.

The power leads that are soldered from the main circuit board to the LCD are near the lens assembly ( about 7 o'clock). Did you break one of these? If so, it will need to be resoldered.

No, it is not caused by settings. Probably CCD sensor is bad. !!! Check if there is possibility of free of charge repair !!! Many models are repaired free with CCD broken, even warranty time is passed.
