Squeaking noise on start up

You need to change your drum rollers. To get to them you take the dryer apart from the front not the back. There are 2 screws where the filter goes in on top. Then pull the top toward you and up. Then remove the 2 - 5/16 inch screws on each side of the front panel about 2 to 3 inches down. Then pull the front up and out. Then you will see everything. Replace the belt, drum rollers, and idler making sure to oil each as you re-install them. Then put back together and your on your way.

I hate to tell you this, but it is probably the timer. The good news is that it is easy to replace and you don't have to have a tech to do it.

Check the drum rollers inside the cabinet, go to appliance guru and it will show you how to get to them.

IT SOUNDS AS THOUGH THE MOTOR IS OVERHEATING AND SHUTTING ITSELF OFF. THAT IS ABOUT THE ONLY THING ON THE DRYER THAT WOULD SHUT IT OFF AND NOT ALLOW IT TO START AGAIN RIGHT AWAY, BUT LET IT START AFTER A WHILE. MAKE SURE THE MOTOR TURNS FREELY. IT SHOULD NOT DRAG OR HUMM WHEN TRYING TO START.
SOURCE: Push the start button and nothing happens - no noise nothing.
check both thermal fueses, door switch, power relay, timer contacts if good, replace motor, do you have 220 volts at plug
