Hard disk is currupted on play station 3 any way 2 fix this problem

I believe you mean "corrupt data". When we have message corrupt data means that something wrongs with hard disk. You can try correct problem running full disk check.

Check your hard disk for errors
You can help solve some computer problems and improve the performance of your computer by verifying that your hard disk has no errors .
Open Computer by clicking the button " Start " and then click Computer.
Right-click the hard drive you want to check, and then click Properties.
Click the Tools tab , and then , under Error-checking , click Check . Administrator permission required If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation , type the password or provide confirmation .
To automatically fix problems with files and folders that the scan detects , select Automatically fix file system errors . Otherwise , the disk check will report problems but not solve .
To run a full disk check , select Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors . This scan attempts to find and repair physical errors on the same hard disk and may need more time to complete .
To check for errors in both files and for physical errors , select both check boxes AutoCorrect file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors .
Click the Start button .
Depending on the size of your hard disk , this process may take several minutes . For best results, do not use your computer for other tasks while it lasts error checking .

If you select the Automatically fix file system errors for a disk that currently in use (for example , the partition that contains Windows), you will be prompted to reschedule the disk check for the next time you restart your computer your .

no no that is very slim that it is your playstion 3 console, if your game is freezing heres probably,another reason why your data has been currupted,you turned off your playstation3 the wrong way,you have to shut it off the proper way,or it will currupt your data,theres two ways to fix this issue,call play station two or three and let them guide you in how to restore your data at the very beggining,like if you were freezing up on call of duty black ops,its more then likely you have currupted data one way to find out,is to put a disk in of a movie ,and if it plays it then its not your lasor,now if the first few steps does not work,then you will go to the second step total restore like on a computer,on the playstation 3 and if you want to test my suggestion,or knowledge,try this take the game out of the playstation 3 hold down the powe button with your thumb totally on the button youll here one beep then two beeps then youll here a beep beep then you will get into the system of the playstation 3 if you need my assistance my email is [email protected] and drop me an email and i will assist when sending me an email in subject put playstion 3 help that way i know,oh ya and another issue that can cause your data to be currupted is **** this is horrible i know

If the drive is not being detected this can be a sign that you have corrupted data on the hard drive or that the drive is bad. The link below will help you address the corrupted data issue. If this does not fix the problem then you will need to replace the hard drive.

ps3 wont read any discs

You'll need to reformat the console's hard disk. This can be done via the Settings > System section of the XMB. Note: All contents of hard disk including saves will be deleted.

any 2.5" (5400 / 7200) SATA hard disk should work..if it still doesnt work you will have to call up sony..all the best,hope ur ps3 is back in action soon!

it may be your clicking ok too many times, the playstation three may need a new harddisk if so phione playstation and another thing is that you could have to much memory in your ps3.

Unfortunately it sounds like you do need a new HDD.
If you only played for 4hrs I can only assume that your machine is still under warrenty- in which case SONY should fix the problem for you.
