I have a similar problem, I brought the Nintendo DS for my daughter for Christmas. It will not charge, the light will not come on. When I click the Power button the red light comes on for about 2 seconds. Please help!

i would suggest trying to find what the issue is, if you know anyone who has a different charger, try it on your daughter's ds. if it still doesn't work, it's a DS problem...if it's under warranty, go to whatever store you bought it at and have them fix or replace it. If you try the different charger and it DOES work, then the only problem is the charger...so then all you have to do is go buy a new charger...hope this helps.
Likely not, as the DS Phat and Lite use a special charger that you can get at Walmart or somewhere similar for cheap, although I'd complain about it to whoever you bought the DS from and see if you can get a free charger from them.
