I have read that weather conditions do affect batteries. If you haven't already done so, might I suggest that you replace or recharge the batteries. Also ensure that you have got the correct batteries as per the camera's user manual.
Failing that, it could well need a visit to the repair shop.

Hope this helps

How to transfer internal memory pictures on a DSCW70

Unlike most brands/ models of cameras, the Sony CyberShot (DSC) cameras feature internal memories, (not enough to hold sufficient data). If you took a few shots before inserting the memory card, the pictures are stored in the internal memory. You can transfer/ delete those pictures by the following steps.
1. switch off the camera,
2 open the battery/ SD card slot cover and remove the SD card.
3. close the cover and switch on
4. press the display/ preview button and your picture should be visible on the screen.

You can now do whatever you want with your picture.

My Sony Cyber-shot DSC-S600 stopped working. I press the power button and nothing happens. I tried changing batteries, but it shows no sign of life. It was left in the trunk of my car overnight, inside a...

Remove the batteries and SD card, leave the battery door open, and put the camera in a jar along with a dessicant bag or a small bag of uncooked rice that has been opened. Put the lid on the jar and let it sit for a day or so. This should absorb any condensation inside the camera that may be keeping it from working properly.

Recently when I started my car and move my steering wheel I hear a squeaking noise. The weather has been cold and snowy. Does this noise happen because of the weather?

THIS IS CAUSED BYTHE PLASTIC COVERS RUBBING ON THE SHAFT, IF U SPRAY SOM LUBERCANT ,LIKE WD40 OR SPRAY WAX IN THE AREA THE NOISE WILL GO AWAY , YES ITS THE COLD CAUSING IT , TRY DIFFERENT POSITIONS FOR THE STERING WHEEL

It could be that the battery isn't holding a charge anymore if you are using rechargeable batteries in you camera. Most of them have a short life to them. If you can get a hold of another one, see if that solves that problem.
