Took a picture in cold snowy weather

Unlike most brands/ models of cameras, the Sony CyberShot (DSC) cameras feature internal memories, (not enough to hold sufficient data). If you took a few shots before inserting the memory card, the pictures are stored in the internal memory. You can transfer/ delete those pictures by the following steps.
1. switch off the camera,
2 open the battery/ SD card slot cover and remove the SD card.
3. close the cover and switch on
4. press the display/ preview button and your picture should be visible on the screen.

You can now do whatever you want with your picture.

Remove the batteries and SD card, leave the battery door open, and put the camera in a jar along with a dessicant bag or a small bag of uncooked rice that has been opened. Put the lid on the jar and let it sit for a day or so. This should absorb any condensation inside the camera that may be keeping it from working properly.

THIS IS CAUSED BYTHE PLASTIC COVERS RUBBING ON THE SHAFT, IF U SPRAY SOM LUBERCANT ,LIKE WD40 OR SPRAY WAX IN THE AREA THE NOISE WILL GO AWAY , YES ITS THE COLD CAUSING IT , TRY DIFFERENT POSITIONS FOR THE STERING WHEEL

This will need to be re-initialized. your best bet is to visit you local ford dealer.

It could be that the battery isn't holding a charge anymore if you are using rechargeable batteries in you camera. Most of them have a short life to them. If you can get a hold of another one, see if that solves that problem.

it more than likely took a fall or impact. since its lens just floats on flexes one is probably out of position

did you get sand in it? that's what happened to mine and i opened it up and took the sand out. piece of cake!

but ir sounds like you might have a motor problem... that different. good luck!
