I have 3 of these players in my home and every time there is a problem with them we find that if we HOLD the power button in and keep it in until it shuts off (while the button is still pressed)... can take a full minute or more, it seems to reset any problems we have encountered.

hi sir.. if ur are formated the memory card.. 1. memory card may be corrupted. 2. try to restore the factory settings a) by tool>setting>phone>general> restore factory setting's or other option like install. thank u sir.. please fix it.
Well seems I solved my own problem.. I waited about 15-20 minutes after another 15sec power button held powerdown, crossed my fingers, and pressed the power button. To my relief, the 'SanDisk' logo appeared and shortly after the menu popped up. I'm just glad this isnt MY mp3.. lol (Stick with iPod, with Apple comes quality).
