SOURCE: kodak easy share z612 will not turn on to take a picture

When the battery dies, usually the camera will retract the lens if possible. If the battery is so dead the lens can not retract, I would recommend trying to charge or change the battery. Or try to turn the camera on, and then manually shutting it off if you can.

SOURCE: Kodak Easy Share DX 4530 won't hold charge any more.

Yes rechargeables need replacing from time to time (after a few hundred charges) or every couple of years.
You can use standard rechargeables but these wont charge on the dock as there is a little switch in the battery bay which the kodak pack presses.
Standard AAs ar'nt recommended for digital cameras but you should get at least a few shots from a new set of alkalines (maybe not if they are cheapo no Alkaline)

There could be another problem with the camera but if you like the camera its probably worth giving a new pack a try.
If I remember rightly (but check as I don't have a 4530 to hand) the battery you want is a KAA2HR and are available on ebay cheaply if you cant find a low cost one locally

If I can be of further help drop me a line

Best of luck

My Kodak Camera C713 has a message stating Memory is full. How do I fix that?

You may have your camera set to store pictures in internal memory, if so change it back to auto storage. The memory card may need to be formatted. Download your pictures from the camera using the Easy Share software.Try looking for settings at: http://resources.kodak.com/support/shtml/en/manuals/urg00775/urg00775toc.shtml

I am attempting to transfer photos from my C713, but I can't power the camera on when it is plugged into the USB. I have changed the batteries and the camera will power on when the USB is disconnected...

Easy shares are set up so they won't respond when plugged in to usb. When you turn the camera on and then run the easyshare program and lastly connect the usb cable, then the pictures and video will transfer to the computer.
You can also take the SD card out of the camera and put it in your computer and transfer pictures that way as well.

When I try to tranfer pictures and videos, only the pictures get transferred. I tried both Windows Photo Gallery and Easy Share, no videos get transferred.

Re instal software after deliting it, get new drivers for software, get new Quick Time aplication. Tag the videos and ohotos with multiple tags, Get some good memory , fresh good quality memory stick.

I have a Kodak c713 digital camera and no matter what i try i cannot transfer pictures from the camera to the computer.

Simple. Power on the camera, then plug the USB cable from the camera to your computer.

If you're using Windows XP or higher, a menu box will appear and you'll be prompted to select one of these programs to view the picture content. I elected to close this window and instead, I clicked on the My Computer icon on the desktop. From there, you'll see the Easy Share camera listed. Double click on that (assuming you're using the internal memory of the camera - otherwise, if you're using an SD Card - which I haven't tested as I just got the camera as a 15 year gift from my company and I am now testing it - otherwise using an SD card, the camera/card will appear in Windows Explorer/My Computer, as a removable drive).

Once you click on the camera (or the removable drive if you're using an SD card), select all those picture files and copy. Open another My Computer or Windows Explorer and create a new folder and past the files into the new folder, or just create a new folder on the Desktop, and paste the copied files into there. Simple.
