I would take it back to the store where you got it.  My daughter has one of these, but we never loaded the software, we just added an SD card and read the pictures from there.

The software is named Photo Show Deluxe, and that link should have the link to download the software for you.

We had this happen today with a brand new camera, I called Fisher Price and they said they had a batch of cameras that short out, which is causing the problem. They offered for us to send the camera to them, and they will mail us a new one.

There is no driver or software needed to upload the pictures. Simply connect the provided usb cable to the camera and computer. Then locate the "computer" tab on your computer and find the removable drive's section. The pictures may be in your G or F drive. Open the folder and you will see the picture files. You can copy or cut and paste them where ever you like. If you cannot find the provided usb cable, you can purchase it by visiting http://service.mattel.com/us/.
