The FS62 is about a three year old camera. If your battery is as old as the camera, I would highly suspect that is your problem (it's done, time for a new battery). Rechargeables are only meant to last a couple years max. Here's one, and here's another from Amazon (a little over 6 bucks with free shipping).

Nikon cool pics totally dead

The battery is most probably defect. and then,
The manual says:

Battery is exhausted.
When connecting to an electrical outlet using a Charging AC Adapter, the camera cannot be turned on.

  • Confirm all connections.
  • Off is selected for Charge by computer in the setup menu.
  • When charging by connecting the camera to a computer, battery charging stops when the camera is turned off.
  • When charging by connecting the camera to a computer, battery charging stops if the computer is suspended (sleeping), and the camera may turn off.
  • Depending upon computer specifications, settings, and status, it may be impossible to charge the battery inserted into the camera via computer connection.

So even when you think the battery is charged, it still can be empty. When a rechargeable battery is old, or not often used, it can lose its capacity, not being able to power the equipment it was meant for correctly.
To make sure your battery is good, you could try to check the voltage with a multi meter. The voltage should be slightly higher than the 3,6 Volt that is printed on the battery. like 3,8 Volt, when measured. if it is just a fraction lower than the 3,6 is is not fully charged and it will be much lower when put in a camera, after switching on the camera. When you measure 2,4 Volt, 1,2 Volt or even nothing you can be sure the battery is dead.

Best option then, would be to order a new battery. But if you know someone with a camera that has the same battery that works, ask if you can check your camera still works with a battery that is ok. because when in a rear situation it is you camera that is defective, you can save the mont for a new battery and look out for a new camera, because the batteries are not cheap.

My camera wont stay on it bleeps once then turns off

That sounds like your battery could be dead/not hold a charge. If you've charged your battery already and your camera still won't stay off and turns off right away, it's time to purchase a new battery for your Samsung TL105.

You can purchase replacement batteries quite cheap here:

Lumix DMC-FZ18 wont power on

Leaving it in the on mode has totally depleted the battery, you say repeated charges fail. Usually leaving it on charge for overnight should revitalise it, if this is not so then the battery should be replaced as attempting to recharge it may cause it to split and spill nasty stuff onto things.

Dont take the risk with batteries in expensive cameras they are cheaper to replace than the camera itself. I remove the batteries from my camera at the end of any session and store them in a tupperware container in my camera gear. That way if they develop a problem it wont affect the camera. It also saves them from running down when the camera switch is left on.

Wont turn on

Well to be3 a 100% about the battery I would replace it with one that you know or is guaranteed to work. Camera batteries can look OK from outside and be completely collapsed inside.

No Charge lights can indicate NO battery and if there is one inside then it is dead and registers as a no battery ( no charge light)

The red light blinks in very low state, but totally discharged it will not blink and wont blink again until loeft on chareger for about 3-4 hrs to overcome the low state.

Zen is dead

Sounds like a battery problem - either the battery is totally dead or just needs recharging - note that when the battery totally loses its charge, I believe it is sometimes not possible to recharge it using the usb port and software method (NOTE you MUST have the software installed and running for it to charge this way).. you may have to charge it using the connector to the power adapter.

Battery Dont Charge

jpierre's solution (in another thread) was right on the money. Touch the positive (+)end of the 9v battery to the positive (+) end of the camera battery.Leave them touching for a few seconds (10 seconds should be more thansufficient). Seems these lithium-ion batteries are subject to a'digital memory.' Subjecting it to a volt surge almost three timeshigher seems to clear it.

In short, it works like a charm.
