SOURCE: My cd's do play but my dvd's don't want to. How

Don't quote me I believe you can download software that rectifys this.

Have you a drop down setup menu, it could be like a lot of digi's these days you still have to click a menu to turn an item on?

My dx-t9 dont have power

If you know how to measure, then check Transformer output (Low voltage). If not good, replace the transformer

What radio station does the jvc ks-rf40 changer use

You must be using an FM modulator then - the easy way is to put a cd in and press play then do a tuning search on FM and it will find it. Then save that station

I had the same problem

Uninstall it. shutdown and disconect it. Rebooot your system. and shutdown again. Connect the device and boot again for the PC to detect the hardware and install again.

Alpine CDM-7857 Distant-local switching

Yep, you'll see a Play/Pause button. Just press that until it says DX Seek (or Seek if you want to skip over stations that are slightly farther away). Then press your tune buttons! If it still doesn't work while in DX or DX Seek mode, then hold the tune button for a second. It'll beep and start scanning to the next one!

FM-stations

I figured it out!! YAY!!!!
so here is how you set the presets:

- click source until you are on the FM radio
- click down or the play/pause button... this shows the presets
- pick which present you want to set your station on by going right or left
- press and hold down or play/pause button until preset number starts flashing
- once flashing, use right and left arrows to select your station (if you wait too long it will stop flashing and you will have to start again)
- once you have gotten to your station, push down or the play/pause button one more time, and it should be set!!

hope this helps, good luck!!

No Sound when playing CD or DVD

Hi, in the menu check that the output is set correctly for dvd playback. ie not through the preout for an amp. It is possible for the unit to be set up to play surround sound for dvd's. Worth a try?

Tuning station problem

Try this: "Hold FM/AM and Press #5". This solution is for a different model JVC stereo, but hopefully it will work for yours as well.
