The headset has become unpaired to the usb and fails to shutdown has no button response...i can reset the usb no problem but without being able to shut off the headset it does nothing.......is frozen somehow and only a week old??
First... It is a terrible design to fail to include a reset on the headset portion. Way to go pdp.
You can let the device battery run out and recharge or you can remove the right ear foam, remove three screws and access the battery. Unplug and re-plug the battery. Re-assemble the parts and its fixed without waiting 12 hours for the battery to die.

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with your headset. From what you are describing, it sounds as if the headset has glitched/frozen in place and will not respond to various commands. This is a known but very uncommon issue. If you allow the headset to drain its charge completely on its own, the issue should be resolved on its own. Unfortunately there is no way to turn off the headset manually. Once the headset drains its batteries, plug in the USB charge cable and power on the headset and continue normal operation. If this does not solve the issue, you still have the receipt and are in the stores return policy, I would suggest an exchange of the item at the retailer you purchased it from. Unfortunately we only offer support to US and Canada residents.
Yes draining battery fixed the problem.all good since then,,,,,,,cheers
For me not so good, even after draining still no go, time to reutrn it for a replacement.
I removed the battery and did not fix the problem must return
My one is frozen and flashing blue and i cant hear or talk :( ;(

This is not a software problem, it's a hardware one: the receiver from inside the headphones is not working properly either because the batteries have aged prematurely and no longer provide the necessary voltage or the audio amplifier has failed.
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do - the battery is not a customer replaceable element and if the amplifier has failed it cannot be replaced, at all - the headset is dead. You will have to contact Plantronics and find out if they will repair or replace it under the warranty rule. For that follow this

I have had an Afterglow Wireless Headset for a week now and all of a sudden it just lost connection and cant be turned On or Off anymore. I have tried reapiring without success as the headset just wont turn On or Off, it is like it is frozen. - Re-Pairng post -http://www.afterglowgaming.com/blog/609/... I am not happy as it is only 5 days old and already unusable.
