Question about Mitsubishi WD-62327 62" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
My Mitsubishi wd62327 tv turns off by itself and then the red light stays on. I can turn it back on and the picture shows. About 2 minutes later the tv will turn off and the red light will stay lit.
You can reset the tv to factory default settings , but before that I need more info ab manufacture date and purchase date you can find the first one on the back cover, if the tv has more than 5000 hrs of use problably the lamp, filter or fans can cause this problem, hope it helps you . let me know

I have the same tv , the warning for the bulb came on about a month ago and the tv went dark on Friday the 9th. I got another bulb but it doesn't work. The power comes on, there is a humming noise like a jet engine starting up, but not as loud (lol) then the noise repeats itself. Then the lamp light blinks green, then turns solid red. Could this be the ballast and is that easy to replace? I also put the light inside without the cage to make sure the connection was true and I put a screwdriver in the slot in front as though the cover was on. The light still didn't work. What gives?
