To reboot a windows computer with Windows XP, click the Start button in the lower left corner, then click Shutdown, then Shutdown again in the popup box.

For a Windows Vista machine, click the windows Orb in the lower left corner, then the small arrow next to the lock on the bottom right of the start menu then click shutdown.

If you need to manually power off, hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds until the computer itself shuts off. This is only for when traditional methods do not work.

Toshiba 350b satallite laptop won,t boot up have power but no hard drive activity

First - re-seat the harddisk and reboot the computer. If the computer does not boot up then reboot andgo into the BIOS configuration to see if the BIOS detects the hard drive. If itdoesn't detect the hard drive then it could be faulty. Then the hard drive needsto be replaced in the computer/laptop, Windows installed and the computer orlaptop's device drivers plus your programs etc. to get a functioningcomputer/laptop again.

Toshiba Satallite Pro M10 PS630E-G206C-EN on a new HD, clean install of XP Pro but system drivers all missing and cant find the disc. Suggestions on a complete driver download location please? Cant get the...

As you have access to another machine (as you have posted here!), go to the Toshiba site, and find the drivers for your laptop.

(There are three M10 laptops showing, this is one of them: Driver for Toshiba Satellite Pro M10-S405, or you could choose from: THIS PAGE, where you can choose the exact model).

Download them to a USB stick, or write them to a DVD/CD and keep them safe in case you need them again in the future.

Hope this helps.

My satallite pro 6000 wont boot up

This error code most likely refers to the RAM.
The RAM module/s may only need reseating to make proper electrical connection.
If this doesn't work the the RAM module/s is possibly faulty. Take it to your friendly computer shop the get it tested or insert it into another laptop to test the RAM.
