Please contact your service provider like HUTCH, AIRTEL or Orange etc specially contact then by giving a visit to their service gallery they are usually well equiped to help u out with this settings besides that you have to ask them to enable MMS or GPRS services that you wish to use, they might be charged

I guess you mean how would you know if someone sent you a MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service)

If you have configured(For configuration settings, contact your service provider) your phone to receive MMS, you'll get the MMS notification and also the phone will automatically download it for you.

If you haven't configured your phone for MMS and your phone does support MMS, you will still get the notification icon on your screen and if the phone will prompt you to adjust the necessary settings

Other than that, if your phone does not support MMS, a SMS with a link will appear. You can visit that link and view the MMS sent to you.

Yes sir,to retrieve MMS data,you should activate you MMS/GPRS by configuring the settings of your network provider or Smart provider.

Here's how to Activate the your MMS/GPRS

Key in SET MMS and send to 211.

To download SMART GPRS phone settings:

Key in SET GPRS and send to 211.

Example: If you have a Nokia 6230, that's "SET MMS N6230"

To activate SMART GPRS:

Key in "GPRS ON" and send to "333′

To activate SMART MMS:

Key in "MMS ON" and send to "333′

Note :
The configuration settings will be sent to your phone. You will need to select "Save All" to save the settings in the phone. Some MMS and GPRS handsets already have pre-loaded phone settings.

Activation of MMS and GPRS will require a confirmation message from SMART. A message will be sent to the sub once the feature has been activated.

I have nokia 2730c and a vodafone conection the problem is that i can't get mms directly to my phone as photo , video etc always a link is shown in msg and it troubles to get mms in my phone so please...

The person who sends u an mms might have sent u a link or from mms websites like Rocetalk.Otherwise MMS will be directly sent.If u have more doubts contact me!

I activeted gprs & mms settingin but my nokia 6300 mms not sent & not receive mms, pls help me to sent & receive mms on my nokia 6300. & i use bsnl pri-paid card

Please activate any GPRS and MMS plan and selected GPRS and MMS settings as default. Also check with your service provider which all providers you can send and receive mms because some service providers do not allow to send mms to other service providers like Aircel.

Depending on your phone, 1. From within SMS or MMS screen, select MENU > Tools > Options > Sending > Check 'Save Sent Items'. or 2. MENU > MESSAGES > MMS > MMS SETTINGS check "Save sent items"

That phone doesnt support mms because its not mms compatible, go onto that website on a computer to access the mms someone has sent you.
You can only recieve texts and text pictures such as :) and :P and pictures drawn with dots and @....

motorola razr v3i i got my razr with my contract, now i added another SIM card from another country and it asks me for another code, i tried it 3 times and it says i have to contact my .. something. now its locked with this SIM card, 2moro ive got to fly there and i dont kno what to do, should i go to my operator wih the sim card when i get there? will they charge me? that would not be fair! help
