Question about Radio Shack Pro-2018 Scanner

No recieving Hello When i leave my pro 2018 off for overnight and turn it on it will recieve the signals for about 10 minutes and then it will not recieve anything. I have to turn it off and leave it for a few hours before it will recieve again but it only recieves for a few minutes. My antenna is not the problem and all the intrenal connections seem to be ok. Please Help! Chaz

I had the same problem and no it is not because of heat. In most cases when you turn a scanner off it has data stored in its RAM and ROM memory banks, this data is cleared out of the scanner if you do not have a memory backup battery. The problem with your scanner is the RAM data might be corrupted, reprogram your radio using only the priority banks and never turn your scanner off unless you have a backup battery, if you do, you'll have to keep reprogramming it. Instead of turning it off, just turn it down.

Sounds like the reciever is getting hot? try bringing it to a local radio shack dealer and see if they will have there techs. look at it.

What would cause reciever 2 to have a much lower singal than reciever 1 on a 625 reciever foe dishnetwork
Hello there! Becki Barned with Dish Network customer service here! There are a few reasons for this. There could be a problem with the receiver itself, cabling, or a component on the dish itself. Normally, it is due to a corrupted cable, or the receiver not being able to pull in signal. Unplugging the receiver for 10 seconds in most cases, will help. Blog back if any other troubles!

Receiver taking a long time to transmit reciever
I assume that the HDMI works fine if you go directly from the dish receiver to the TV with either HDMI cable. And try it with a different source (DVD or x-box) in the same input port.

Take it to a Radio Shack there service centers can repair Onkyo in warranty. Most Onkyo receivers carry a two year warranty.

Reciever powers up and recieves signal (station and song titles are displayed) but doesn't transmit to car radio either through the assigned fm station or the aux cord.
IF you have a cord plugged into the audio jack, if will TURN OFF your FM transmitter. You have to leave it unplugged for the FM transmitter to work. Go to MENU and make sure your FM station is set and that the FM OUTput signal is turned up. Write back if you need more help.

If the phone has signal an then you can't send and recieve text try to goto> Message> Message settings> Message Center Number or Center number , then compare it with another user with the same network if its the same or else copy his/her Msg Center Number if he' she is able text... And for your battery problem, how long are you using the battery?... If you always leave it overnight charging so it might be damaged or leak,... Try to buy a new battery...

I can't get the 200 channels to recieve
GO TO YOUR FIRE STATION AND THEY SOMETIMES WILL GIVE YOU THE FREQUENCIES YOU NEED TO PUT INTO YOUR SCANNER. IF NOT, UNIDEN SELLS A MANUAL THAT LISTS ALL CHANNELS FOR WHAT YOU NEED.
