A friend of mine has a Magic Chef oven that lights up and turns off intermittently, without reaching the preset temperature. When you set the oven temperature, the ignitor light comes on but the burner won't light until a few minutes later. Before it even comes close to reaching the preset temperature, the oven burner goes out. Is this a thermostat problem or an ingitor problem?
This could be caused by a lack of air within the oven cavity, once the air is used up the flame will go out, it will then work again once it is relite, but will probably do the same again, this could be dangerous and requires on site proffesional attention. Regards Engineer

I still haven't found a solution to this problem.
The model number for the range/oven is 34GA-4TKXW. I would really appreciate any help that you can send my way.
Thermostat does not work. Pilot comes on, but burner does not turn off when temperature has reached the correct temperature
It won't turn on the oven burner.
