The light is blinking orange..tried resetting it and everything
Well the router problem might because of connection problem. so please make sure, you are properly connected with internet. for more information you may visit : http://www.fixotip.com/discussion/16/my-dlink-router-has-solid-orange-light
The blinking orange power light suggests that there is a problem with your modem. The modem should be plugged into the top ethernet port of your router. Try turning off your modem for 10 seconds and then turning it back on.

Testimonial: "hi, thanks for your reply. I connected the router and my internet modem as mentioned in the setup guide. but I cannot establish a connection. I was not able do open the urls you had mentioned."
SOURCE: no connection
First make sure that your computer is able to go online when connected directly to the modem. if that is working then connect the modem and the computer to the router. Reset the router for 30 seconds. You will find the reset button on the back side of the router. Hold it down for 30 seconds. Unplug the power to the router. Plug it back in. wait for a minute. Now open the rotuer set up and configure the router.
