Samsung RF266AEPN BUZZING NOISE and back Panel Iced

Details: One year into this refrigerator. The fridge begins to make a semi loud buzzing noise and notice the back panel had iced. It sounded like the fan area was hitting the ice when turning which caused the noise. By researching this model I have found this model has problems with this area. The fix would be to replace the therminster and control board a cost of 399.00 labor and parts. Year warranty expired and problem began 2 months after expiration. Is this a mfg. defect?

Sometimes they ice up because the defrost cycle does not work, check for a faulty fuse, in the circuit board.

SOURCE: Samsung RF267AABP Noise problem

it sounds like the unit is in defrost. the noise is the souind of the ice breaking up. also you might be able to increase your ice produsction by setting the ice sensor to 17.5 degrees from the current 0 degrees

SOURCE: samsung refrigerator freezer not freezing

I just returned the same fridge to Lowe's where I bought it using the warranty for the same problem. The temperature sensors went out, and everyone said the computer board needed to be replaced but no one could seem to get it together enough to order us one. Month later we are getting a new fridge.

Our refrigerator does a very loud buzzing for 5 seconds 3 or 4 times a day what is the problem its only 3 months old and very annoying

Normally as loud buzzing from the fridge on that frequency it just the icemaker cycling, the water inlet solenoid valve often makes a buzzing noise depending upon water pressure. Other than the noise, there is nothing to worry about.

Amana AFD2535FES makes loud buzzing noise

When a start relay and the coil that opens the water for the ice maker or the water dispenser begin to weaken they some times buzz. Its possible you will need to either replace the=> 67003753 Water Inlet Valve

Fridge freezer making a loud buzzing noise

My Samsung refrigerator (rf263aebp) was making an awful buzzing noise in the rear after only 1 year. I solved the problem by loosening the rear panel that covers the fan. Apparently, it was too tight and was rubbing on something (the fan?) and causing the noise.

I have an american style fridge freezer from Samsung and it is buzzing when the fridge door is shut. I am guessing there is an ice build up around the fan but cant get the cover off easily. Any ideas...

i had a fan noise and the repair tech replaced the fan...turns out that the new fan was also making noise which lead me to look for other problems which lead to the fan problem

new fan was also buzzing in my freezer after some time...noticed ice build up towards the bottom right corner of the back panel (in freezer)....i diconnected power...took the back panel off .....fan had frost on it....coil was iced up.... then on the back of the refrigerator i accessed the control board....plugged the power back on ...i jumped the line to the heater...heater didnt work....then checked resistance through the heater (checked ok)....

it came down to me replacing the defrost thermostat which is in series with the heater....defrost now works fine ...which is every 60hrs for 45 minutes on mine.

good luck

A loud intermitant buzzing coming from the back of the fridge

either the noise is coming form he ice maker fill valve( but if its of and still aking noise i doubt it. it also possible that the noise is coming from the compressor itself, overheating nad trying to restart in which case would give a slight "buzz" noise for 5secs or so then "click" off, and wait maybe 3 min to restart again. look for melted ice andperhaps your ice dream ont as hard as it should be???

Loud buzzing noise from inside Jenn Air 2389G fridge

i don't know jennair specifically being from england.
however, there is often a fan inside the back panel and the noise you heard was the fan hitting ice. the reason now not heard and fridge not working may be that the ice has built up so much the fan is jammed
