Hi All, I have a Ford Focus which I got in November last year so it is the latest model. I got the ipod/MP3 player connection option with it but so far have failed to get the ipod to work through the USB port. If I attach through the 'Line In' port I can play songs through the car stereo but if I plug the USB port in (which would allow me to operate the ipod through the car stereo) the ipod seems to simply enter a sync mode which it never comes out of. The stereo simply displays the notice 'No tracks on device'. Has anyone come across this problem before and are you aware of a fix please? My ipod is reasonably old, it is the 'clickwheel' traditional, 40GB, black and white screen

The device is not compatible with the Ford electronics, simple as that. That is to say the system can't read the USB device.

SOURCE: iPod connection problem with Ford Focus

I think you have to connect both the line-in to the earphone-connector and the USB to the USB-connector on the iPod.
Don't ask me why, but that seems to work (according to another Dutch forum http://www.focusclub.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4201&sid=be5c9f538bd310a274324907aff98513). I haven't tested it yet (don't have a line-in to line-in cable).

Hi I would like to know how to adjust my headlights on my ford ranger xls my17. cheers Dave

Depending on the model, recent or latest model has built in
adjuster for headlight. Otherwise, if your car don't have, then
you have to open the front hood and locate one or two screw
bolts besides each headlight. If you only see one (1) then
that can adjust up and down only focus. If two (2) screw
bolts, one screw bolt can adjust up and down (vertical) focus
and the other screw bolt can adjust left or right (horizontal)
focus.

My 2005 ford focus CD player doesn't eject the disc out. what is the problem. second i got 2007 ford focus stereo but the connection harness is different how do i convect it to connect to my 2005 ford...

It is very common on Ford models of that year to have cd's not eject. If you are using burned cd's, these are generally to thick for the player to handle. Working at the Dealership i have seen this many times. As far as the wiring harness, its colors should be the same as the old one , so you need to cut off the connectors and reattach.

Honda Accord - AUX Connectivity/Supports

The AUX cables are just an input to the stereo, and it doesn't matter what format your music player uses. If you do need to change the cables to accept a different mp3 player, all of this is usually done in the wiring on the back of the stereo. hope this helps you.

I have a ford focus V reg have had it since november last year and it has started bellowing black smoke out of the exhaust, car is running fine no performance lose or anything, however this have happened...

Usually - black smoke is unburned gas..
Could be bad gas..
Could be an intake issue causing wrong mixture of gas & air..
Try using a higher octain..

Integration mp3 player to 2005 x3

call a BMW dealer and talk to either your salesman or parts. ask them if they can run your VIN to see if it is prewired for a CD changer (assuming you don't see the wiring in the rear compartment). all they will need is the last 7 digits of the VIN.

BMW does sell an IPOD controller, but i think DICE makes a better one. check them out here:

If you just want to plug in your MP3 player to the radio open the glove box and you will find an MP3 socket near the latch of the lid. Plug in your player and press the auxilary button on the radio to get the player to work via the radio.
