I had the same problem with a Crown amp. The problem was in the set up of the amp. We had it set in a mono setting but, when I re-set it in stereo it worked fine.

I had a like problem with a crown amp. I found it was in the amp settings , nothing to do with the mixer set up. We had it a mono setting. Take a look at your amp set up book, i'll almost bet thats where the problem is

SOURCE: Behringer SL3242 Mixer has a noise problem.

It sounds like you have ground loops. This is noise generated by having interconnected equipment grounded at different physical locations. Especially a problem if you have a cable from your cable TV provider connected into your equipment.
Remove EVERY connection into and out of the mixer. Plug in headphones. Noise? If so, mixer needs repair. If not, re-connect equipment 1 piece at a time and assess for noise. If it slowly increases as you add connections you will need expert on-site help to fix it. If it is sudden, what was just connected is the source and steps need to be taken to lift the ground on the connection to that equipment.

SOURCE: I've never used PA systems or vocal setups.

Hi, the speakers are unpowered, but that desk is also unpowered, so you need an amplifier in the circuit. This can either be in the desk, in the speaker, or a separate device, there are advantages to each.

Can't hear playback through Headphone socket, only through speaker monitors!

i suggest you contact Behringer Customer Service for advixce. Without the setup in front of me, it's hard to figure out the wire routeing, switch positions, ect. that may be leading to this problem. As they would be the people most familiar with the gear, they'sd be the people to ask.

How do I fix it?..

how are you hooked up? (hopefully you have this problem fixed by now. looks like you have 2 options for inputs. You can use xlr or 1/4" Are you hooking up to a sub as well or just flying these solo? Make sure your mixing board master is up, channel on mixing board is up, plug volume on speaker is up.. Im curious if you did get these fixed. Personally, I use qsc..

When I plug-in my vp1220f floor monitors in to the monitor mix on the pmp 2000 i get no sound or little sounds

If you are referring to the "monitor" output , this is a Pre-amp output which connects to a power amp or speakers that have built-in power amps. The Monitor output is a high impedance output. This output will not drive speakers directly.

How to connect Behringer qx1200 mixer with pc and pc/speaker? I tried all solutions but i didnt' get any sound. Earphones works great

the mixer connects to the pc via usb or analogue i/p's
the mixer does not connect to the pc speaker
this has to be done with the software you're running on your computer
the easiest way is..plug the headphone o/p into any amplifier line i/p
( amp and speakers or powered monitors ) and forget about the pc speaker ..they're sh!te period ..or you can plug the headphone
o/p into the mixer then the mixer into an amp but this is more complicated and you will need to read up on it
but do yourself a favour and get some small multimedia speakers
similar to these for starters

Behringer XENYX 2442 FX: Turntable into CD/tape IN. CD/tape OUT connected to USB device IN. Why is there no signal from mixer to the computer?

If I read correctly, you have outputs on the Behringer (CD/Tape Out) connected to inputs on the Behringer (USB Device In). Is that correct? If so, try going from CD/Tape Out directly to the computer. If not, please explain what the "USB Device In" is.

Hi We have an Allen & Heath Mixing Desk connected to two Yamaha P4500 audio amplifiers (via graphic EQ and compressor/limiter) which power the 4 main and 4 side speakers in our church. We now want to...

'Splitting' leads is never the best way to distribute a signal. The best solution is to use the parallel inputs of the Yamahas to chain them together: mixer to amp1, amp1 to amp2, amp 2 to the Cloud. You should only need to use one input on the Cloud to drive all the channels, using the input switches at the rear.

Let me know if you need any clarification on this.

Can I hook up 2 separate power amps to PMP3000? I

Better way... Connect the main speakers via the Speakons and then put a Power Subwoofer to one of the Monitor connections IF you are not using both stage monitors. If you need to kill the lows to the mains, use the EQ in the PMP-3000.

Use the EQ that is USUALLY on the subwoofer to kill the highs to the sub.

Lot less cables and hardware.

REMEMBER for equipment safety, power ALL interconnected equipment from the same source be it a receptacle or power distribution system.

Powering parts of a system from receptacles strewn around a room is asking for trouble of ground loops and ground faults.

How do I connect my behringer mixer desk to

The first thing to do is to swap teh L & R INPUTS to the amplifier. Did the speaker that works change?
If som the problem is with the setting of the mixer deck. If it did not change, then the problem is with your speaker wiring of the dead speaker, the speaker itself, or that side of the amp.
If the working speaker did swap, that means problem is with the mixer. The question then becomes how are you connecting to the mixer. You should be using TRS 1/4 inch connectors or preferably XLR from the MAIN outputs. These are balanced outputs connections.
If the inputs are from one of the mono inputs, the PAN control for that channel will control how much goes to each speaker... If at center, both will get same signal.
There are so many possibilities that I can't evaluate them until you try the test to find if it is problem of the amp or the mixer that I have given you to try.

I Have a behringer pmp3000 16 channel mixer amp. the problem i have is that one side is weaker than the other considerably. using the desk in stereo mode. tried and checked leads and speakers but alas it...

As a test, plug ONLY into the RCA stereo inputs and test for equality. Have no other connections when testing other than the speakers. Make sure the Speakon cables for the speakers connect correctely and that the

This unit has some TRS inputs and one must use cables designed for that. Often a person may plug a mono into a TRS inout and the barell of the mono grounds out the ring of a TRS connector. Make sure the slide switch is clear up to Main L and Main R position.

The amps in these units are "class D" which are like the Peavey DECA amps, that is are switching type with filter. They are very efficient pwer wise. They usually are all there or totally dead, not just weak.

Make sure you do not go below the load resistance they specify. (Usually 4 ohms)

The power supply is a switching regulator and has lethal voltage present so use caution if you open the unit. They are hard to work on and Behringer doesn't supply schematics. I had to trace out the circuitry in a PMP5000 I repaired.
