If you are happy with it running on a different OS try running it in Compatibility Mode
Right click on the desktop camera icon
Select 'Properties'
Select 'Compatibility' tab
Check the CM mode box and select the OS from the dropdown box
Click 'Apply' & 'OK'

If you just downloaded the drivers, try restarting your computer so that the updates will register.

i get logged out of msn everytime i want to start a video call or start a webcam chat with my logitech quickcam pro 9000. jst wondering why this happens.

I assume you see yourself and the other person sees themselves in the video call?

Did you associate your webcam to your video chat software? What are you using?

Have you tried adjusting the motion detection sensitivity? Just a thought.

I had this problem but I fixed it. The google chat uninstaller does not uninstall everything. Go to the hidden folder Application Data of the default or local user in the Documents and Settings folder of the C drive, you will find the plugin folder for google chat. Delete it and then reinstall the plugin and it will work.

Ok, first you definitly want to upgrade to service pack 3. And what version of Direct X are you running this sounds like you need to upgrade that as well.

Let it install what ever moduals it needs to install and then click custom button, under optional software if there are ANY Direct x updates install them, also install service pack three it has a lot of fixes for multimedia applications and is the most stable version of xp out there.
